The BFI appoints director of partnerships

The founder and former chief exec of the Foundation of Art and Creative Technology in Liverpool, Eddie Berg, who had previously served as the artistic director of BFI Southbank since 2005, has been appointed by the BFI to the newly-created role of director of partnership.
Berg will be responsible for leading the partnerships and new business opportunities teams to strengthen the film sector globally and throughout the UK. He will focus on developing new international and national entrepreneurial partnerships from both the public and private sectors.
He will take up the role in September and will report to BFI deputy chief exec.
